BHEL employees contributes one-day's salary for Uttarakhand victims
BHEL has also contributed an amount of Rs.2 crore for the cause to the Chief Minster's Relief Fund of Uttarakahand.
To this effect, on behalf of BHEL's employees, a cheque of Rs 6.38 crore was handed over to Praful Patel, minister for heavy industries and public enterprises by BP Rao, Chairman and Managing Director, BHEL, in the presence of S. Behuria, secretary, department of heavy industry.
Directors on the board of BHEL as well as other senior officials of the Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises and BHEL were also present on this occasion. BHEL has also contributed an amount of Rs.2 crore for the cause to the Chief Minster's Relief Fund of Uttarakahand.
