BHEL bags Rs 5,040 cr contract from Jindal Power

State run Bharat Heavy Electricals on Friday said it has bagged a Rs 5,040 crore contract from Jindal Power for setting up 2,400 MW power plant in Chhatisgarh.

NEW DELHI: State run Bharat Heavy Electricals on Friday said it has bagged a Rs 5,040 crore contract from Jindal Power for setting up 2,400 MW power plant in Chhatisgarh.
BHEL would install four units of 600 MW each in this O P Jindal super thermal power plant at Raigarh in Chhatisgarh.
BHEL's scope of work in the contract includes designs, engineering, manufacture, supply and erection of boilers, turbines, generators and associated auxilliary.
