BGR Energy bags Rs 250 crore worth orders

CHENNAI: EPC major BGR Energy Systems has received orders worth Rs 250 crore in electrical sub-stations segment of its electrical projects division including from TANTRANSCO.

"BGR Energy's Electrical Projects Division have secured three substation orders from Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Ltd for establishment of 230KV AIS Substation at Villupuram, 110KV GIS Substation at Thirumangalam South, and 110KV AIS substation at Palavadi in Dharmapuri district", the Chennai-based company said in a statement.

All the orders are based on total turnkey basis, it said. Besides the new orders, electrical projects division is executing main plant electrical systems order for 4x700MW for Nuclear Power Corporation and 220KV and 400KV air insulated substation works, the release said.
