Bakreswar thermal power plant unit shut down

SURI: A 210 MW unit of state government's Bakreshwar thermal power plant was shut down when a fuel pipeline next to it caught fire, company sources said today.

The pipeline caught fire late last night causing unit 5 of the power plant to be shut down, the sources said.

The fire was put out and none was injured, the sources added.
