Areva T&D bags Rs 76 cr order from HVPNL

Areva T&D India said it has bagged a Rs 76 crore order from the Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam for design and construction of a 400 kV substation at Nawada, near Faridabad.

NEW DELHI: Areva T&D India on Monday said it has bagged a Rs 76 crore order from the Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (HVPNL) for design and construction of a 400 kV substation at Nawada, near Faridabad.

The order involves supply of power transformers, high voltage circuit breakers, instrument transformers and other transmission and distribution products, a company statement said.

AREVA T&D is already involved in construction of HVPNL's 400 kV Substation in Kirori, near Hissar, it said.

The company currently has 14 manufacturing units and 22 sales offices.
