APERC, US utility in pact

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC) has partnered with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission of USA (PPUC) for providing better services to consumers.

As part of the agreement, the state will also adopt the consumer handling practices in the US, according to a release on Thursday. The MoU signed between the two authorities is expected to usher in second phase of power reforms in the state by ensuring quality power to all sectors.
