Anil Ambani meets Andhra Pradesh CM

HYDERABAD: ADAG Chairman Anil Ambani met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy here this evening, official sources said.

It was a courtesy call and the meeting between the two lasted for about 15 minutes, sources in the chief minister's office said.

Ambani refused to speak to the media as he emerged out of the meeting.

Sources, however, said he discussed setting up of the 3,960-MW ultra-mega power project close to the Krishnapatnam port in Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district, which is likely to be commissioned in 2015.

The Anil Dhirubhai Ambiani Group (ADAG) was in Hyderabad to attend the wedding reception of industrialist G V Krishna Reddy's grandson.
