VA Tech Wabag signs contract with Indian Oil Corp

The contract with IOCL has been signed recently for setting up ETP factility at IOCL's Paradip refinery besides a waterwater recycle plant.

CHENNAI: Water treatment player VA Tech Wabag Ltd on Thursday said it has signed a contract with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) to set up an effluent treatment plant (ETP) at a cost of Rs 250 crore.

The contract with IOCL has been signed recently for setting up ETP factility at IOCL's Paradip refinery besides a waterwater recycle plant, VA Tech said in a statement in Chennai.

The scope of the project includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of ETP and recycling system on turnkey basis, the city headquartered company said.

"Repeat orders from IOCL go to show the customer confidence in our capability to handle larger ETP projects for other refineries in India," VA Tech Wabag managing director Rajiv Mittal said.

VA Tech Wabag has operations in Middle East, North Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, China and South East asia, the statement added.
