S Sundareshan now petro ministry additional secy

NEW DELHI: Former Forward Markets Commission chairman on Monday took over as the Additional Secretary of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

A 1976 batch IAS officer of Kerala cadre, S Sundareshan, 54, steps into the Ministry in place of Anil Razdan, who was elevated as Power Secretary recently.

Official sources said Sundareshan, who holds a management degree from Universkty of Leeds, UK, was Joint Secretary,
Department of Economic Affairs in the Ministry of Finance from 1996 to 1999.
