The Russian government has decided to ban gasoline exports in September and October 2024, Russian Deputy Energy Minister Pavel Sorokin said on Wednesday, the state-run news agency TASS reported.

Russia's gasoline stocks in 2024 are 1% higher than last year's level, Sorokin said, adding that gasoline exports in July 2024 were down 33%.
