RTS Power Corp bags Rs 52.7-cr orders
Power transformers manufacturer RTS Power Corp on Monday said it has secured Rs 52.7-crore orders from various private sector players and state electricity boards for supply of equipment.
The company has bagged orders worth about Rs 24 crore from Kalpataru Power Transmission for supply of transformers. It also secured contracts from Nagarjuna Construction, Ramky Infrastructure, Sterling & Wilson and Associated Transrail Infrastructure Ltd, RTS Power Corp informed the BSE.
The company has orders worth Rs 124.5 crore in hand at present, it added.
RTS Power Corp has started production of single phase transformers to meet the growing demand under Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidhhyutikaran Yojana. The company also plans to add new facilities to cater to the requirements of 220 KV class.
It has completed first phase of its expansion plan, including installation of cable and conductor plant at Jaipur.
The company has acquired land for expansion at its Salkia unit to manufacture up to 25 MVA and 66 KV transformers, it added.
Shares of the company were trading at Rs 231.95 each, up 0.54, at 1239 hours on the BSE.
