RIL plans maintenance turnaround of CDU at Jamnagar refinery

AHMEDABAD : Reliance Industries Limited ( RIL) has planned `maintenance turnaround' of a crude distillation unit ( CDU) at its Jamnagar refinery complex for four weeks starting February 18.

This period would also be used to carry out necessary modifications to improve the reliability and performance of the unit, a company statement said.

The balance three crude distillation units and all the secondary processing units are expected to sustain normal operations, the statement said.

RIL is India's largest private sector company with a turnover of Rs 339,792 crore(USD 66.8 billion).
