RIL cautions against 'canard' on deal with RNRL

NEW DELHI: Amid the battle between the Ambani brothers, Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries on Wednesday termed as 'canards' the reports that it was buying out the younger brother Anil-run Reliance Natural Resources Ltd.

"It is unfortunate that a section of media has allowed itself to be used to give sanctity to rumours and canards that are being spread," RIL said in a statement within hours of informing the stock exchanges that such reports were speculative.
