REL resumes generation at Dahanu power unit

MUMBAI: Anil Ambani group company Reliance Energy Ltd on Monday said it has resumed generation at one of the units of its thermal power station at Dahanu, Maharashtra.

In a filing on the Bombay Stock Exchange, REL said the unit was synchronised to the grid on August 20.

The company owns and operates a 500 MW thermal power station at Dahanu, which consists of two units of 250 MW each, it said, adding one of these units was closed down on August 2 for overhauling.
