REL resumes generation at Dahanu power unit

Anil Ambani group company Reliance Energy Ltd on Monday said it has resumed generation at one of the units of its thermal power station at Dahanu, Maharashtra.

MUMBAI: Anil Ambani group company Reliance Energy Ltd on Monday said it has resumed generation at one of the units of its thermal power station at Dahanu, Maharashtra.

In a filing on the Bombay Stock Exchange, REL said the unit was synchronised to the grid on August 20.

The company owns and operates a 500 MW thermal power station at Dahanu, which consists of two units of 250 MW each, it said, adding one of these units was closed down on August 2 for overhauling.
