Premium petrol gets costlier as India absorbs global oil shock
India has raised prices of premium petrol variants by up to ₹2.35 per litre as global oil markets reel from conflict-linked supply disruptions after US-Israel strikes on Iran. Regular petrol and diesel remain unchanged for now, with the government saying only premium fuels, a small share of total sales, have been affected.
