Prices of petrol and diesel touched new record highs after they were hiked for the third straight day across the country on Friday, October 29.
In the national capital, both petrol and diesel prices were up by 35 paise each.

Petrol in Delhi is now retailing at Rs 108.64 a litre and diesel Rs 97.37 a litre. Petrol and diesel prices in Mumbai are now at Rs 114.47 and Rs 105.49 a litre, Rs 109.02 and Rs 100.49 in Kolkata; Rs 105.43 and Rs 101.59 in Chennai respectively.


Fuel prices differ from state to state depending on the local taxation (VAT) and freight charges. The central government also charges an excise duty on auto fuels.
