Peacemakers:The men who bridged the Ambani duo's gap
The men who bridged the RIL-RNRL gap.
Anand Jain, who was in the headlines for all the wrong reasons when the Ambani brothers parted ways in 2006, seems to be one of the match-makers in the unifying episode.
It was Jain’s meeting with ADAG top brass in Mumbai immediately after the Supreme Court verdict that led to the breakthrough. “Jain and RIL’s legal counsel Atul Dayal met and ironed out differences,” said a person close to RIL.
Atul Dayal enjoys good relationship with ADAG’s top brass as he had worked closely with Anil Ambani in the undivided Reliance empire. The other key player is mother Kokilaben. The family agreement gives the mother the right to intervene in case of a dispute. Mummy, it seems, is still the big daddy.
