PDPU to host roundtable on Oil & Gas on Friday
School of Petroleum Management (SPM) of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), Gandhinagar is organizing Oil & Gas Roundtable 2011 on Friday.
The panel of speaker consists of top officials from policy making bodies like Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MOPNG), Petroleum Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB), Director General of Hydrocarbon (DGH), Government of Gujarat Energy & Petrochemicals Department and decision makers from leading Oil & Gas sector companies.
“We intend to provide authoritative assessment of challenges which confronts the energy security of india. It is an opportunity for interaction and discussion with key players of oil and gas value chain,” said Roundtable coordinator and faculty member Akash Patel. Another coordinator and faculty member of PDPU Kaushal Kishor stated that the discussions between industry and academia would include a significance of policy and regulations for operations, talent and project management. The event provides a platform for the decision makers to address the issues and challenges in this volatile market condition across the value chain, he added.
The discussions in the Roundtable will revolve around energy security, opportunities and challenges in asset integration and project management besides role of information technologies. DGH GM for reservoir NS Tanwar, ICF International MD Nitin Zamre, GS Caltex India GM Rajesh Nagar, HMEL CFO Harak Banthia, and L&T’s Parthasarathi Chatterjee are some of the speakers.
