ONGC makes four oil & gas discoveries
State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) today said it has made four oil and gas discoveries in the country.
The finds were made in Warosan, Balasar and Halisa blocks in western onshore blocks and GS-15-OA in Krishna Godavari offshore, a company release said here today.
The Board of the company approved a Rs 423.20 crore repair of Jack-up Rig Sagar Ratna. "This repair job will be carried out by Hindustan Shipyard (HSL)," it said.
ONGC would also hire a consultancy for acquiring/ constructing a FPSO (Floating Production and Storage Offloading). The expected cost for the consultancy would be about Rs 26.88 crore.
The FPSO would be used to develop marginal fields, extended testing and early monetization of new finds.
