Numaligarh Refinery Limited bags Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2012

Guwahati: Assam based Numaligarh Refinery Limited ( NRL) has begged the prestigious 'Corporate Social Responsibility Award(CSR) 2012' by Subir Raha Centre of Corporate Governance under the head 'Community Development' for its efforts in adopting and implementing CSR schemes for the community in its neighborhood as well as the region as whole.

The award endorsed by World CSR Congress. The NRL team comprising of Bruno Ekka, General Manager (HR) and P. K. Sarma, Manager (CSR) received the award.

According to the company since its inception, NRL has been focussed in improving the lives of the community surrounding its Refinery through its persistent CSR efforts. The Company has been adopting schemes and practices which would bring maximum benefit to the targeted groups. The focus areas of NRL's CSR initiatives are Agri Allied/Income Generation Activities; Education; Infrastructure; Health and Promotion of Art/Sports/Literature & Culture.
