New Delhi: NTPC Ltd has invited bids for the development, designing and setting up of 1,800 tonnes per year of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) plant at Pudimadaka in Andhra Pradesh.

Bidders are invited for works including designing, engineering, fabrication, packing, forwarding, supply, transportation and handling, loading and unloading, storage, construction, among others.

The last date to submit bids is November 6.


According to a report from Deloitte, India could produce 8-10 million tonnes of the fuel annually by FY40.
