LUCKNOW: Indian Oil Corporation today said there is no shortage of domestic subsidised and non-subsidised LPG refill cylinders and are freely available upon booking by customers in Uttar Pradesh.

IOC general manager and state level coordinator B S Canth said that as per the recent scheme announced by the Centre customers of LPG including Indane, were eligible for three subsidised domestic cylinders till March 31 next year.

He further added that there was no restrictions in the number of domestic non-subsidised cylinders that customers can avail beyond the three subsidised LPG refills for domestic cooking purpose.

Canth also advised customers to ensure that entries of refill supplies were properly made by the delivery boys in the Domestic Gas Consumer (DGC) Card issued by their distributors, so as to ensure that refill supplies are properly recorded.

He suggested that the customers, who do not have the DGC Card, can contact their distributor to avail one.

He said that the oil marketing companies were also currently undertaking an ambitious know your customer exercise, and the customers were requested to cooperate in completing it early, which will ensure further streamlining of LPG distribution.
