SINGAPORE: India's MRPL has bought about 600,000 barrels of extra oil for July from Saudi Aramco, two sources with direct knowledge of the matter said, evidence the kingdom is offering higher volumes after OPEC talks collapsed earlier this week.

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) operates a 236,400 barrels per day (bpd) coastal refinery in southern India and usually buys about 20,000-22,000 bpd oil from Saudi Aramco.

The Indian refiner was asked by Saudi Aramco if it needed more volumes for July and it said it needed an additional cargo of Arab Super light, the sources said, requesting anonymity.
