M&M, Gulf Oil launch co-branded diesel engine oil

MUMBAI:Auto major Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) today joined hands with Hinduja Group firm Gulf Oil Corp to launch a co-branded diesel engine oil.

Performance of the Gulf Super Diesel X-10 is approved by M&M for a longer oil change drain interval of up to 10,000 km. It is recommended for use in turbocharged and naturally aspirated engines of Mahindra vehicles, including three wheelers and light commercial vehicles, a release said here.

"With the launch of this product, Gulf Oil has strengthened its co-branded engine oil portfolio in the automotive vehicle segment," Gulf Oil President (Lubes Business) Ravi Chawala said.

"Gulf Super Diesel X-10 will deliver more value to the Mahindra owner. Besides, its easy availability due to Gulf Oil's strong distribution network will bridge existing gaps in the market and make life easier for the vehicle owners," M&M Vice-President (Sales and Customer Service) Arun Malhotra said.
