L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering to execute deep water project for ONGC
The contract was part of ONGC's integrated development of Deep Water Vashishta and S1 fields taken on the Eastern coast.
"The facilities are being employed to execute a prestigious Lump Sum Turn Key contract that has been bagged from ONGC for subsea installation by a consortium of J Ray Mc Dermott S A, Berlian, McDermott and Larsen and Toubro, Hydrocarbon Engineering in an international competitive bidding", a company statement said.
The contract was part of ONGC's integrated development of Deep Water Vashishta and S1 fields taken on the Eastern coast.
"It is the first project involving subsea wells in depths ranging from 400 metre to 700 metre involving a chain field architecture with subsea tie back to onshore terminal at Odalaveru ( Andhra Pradesh) through a dual 14 inch pipeline", it said.
The project was scheduled to commence production by mid-2017 and achieve full capacity of two billion cubic metres of gas per year by end 2017.
