Kuwait Petro, RIL plan petro complex
Kuwait Petroleum (KPC), the national oil company of Kuwait, has said it is in talks with Reliance Industries (RIL) to set up a greenfield refinery-cum-petrochemical complex in India.

NEW DELHI: Kuwait Petroleum (KPC), the national oil company of Kuwait, has said it is in talks with Reliance Industries (RIL) to set up a greenfield refinery-cum-petrochemical complex in India.
KPC vice-chairman & CEO Sa’ad Al-Shuwaib confirmed he would meet RIL’s officials in Mumbai on Wednesday in this regard. “We are interested to invest with RIL in a new project and not the existing one,” he said.
It is learnt from Kuwaiti officials that KPC is also interested in investing in other Asian countries.
