Jaihind Projects bags Rs 94.38cr order from Brahmaputra Gas

Jaihind Projects, an oil and gas pipeline firm, on Monday said it has secured Rs 94.38 crore orders from Brahmaputra Gas Cracker and Polymer.

NEW DELHI: Jaihind Projects, an oil and gas pipeline firm, on Monday said it has secured Rs 94.38 crore orders from Brahmaputra Gas Cracker and Polymer for mechanical and pipe works for a petrochemical complex in Assam.

"Jaihind Projects Ltd has been awarded Rs 56.10 crore orders for carrying out mechanical and piping works for Ethylene cracker unit for Brahmaputra Petrochemical Complex of Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Ltd at Lepetkata, Assam," the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The company has bagged another Rs 38.28 crore order for the works related to same project, it added.

Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer is a Joint Venture Company (JVC) with GAIL as the lead promoter with 70 per cent equity. The other Joint Venture partners are Oil India Limited (OIL), Numaligarh Refineries Limited (NRL) and Assam Government, each having 10 per cent equity.
