Indraprastha Gas raises CNG prices in Delhi-NCR

The Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) has raised compressed natural gas (CNG) prices in Delhi-NCR, with effect from today.

IGL has hiked the CNG prices in the capital city to Rs 79.56 per kg from Rs 78.61 per kg. Prices in Delhi have gone up after a gap of two months, while this is the 15th increase in price since March 7 in the capital.

For Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, IGL has rasied the prices to Rs.82.12 per kg from Rs 81.17 per kg . CNG will now cost Rs 87.89 per kg in Gurugram.


IGL said on Twitter that the price hike is due to increased input gas cost.


The CNG retail prices in Kanpur, Fatehpur & Hamirpur were left unchanged.

The revised CNG prices in Rewari, Karnal and Kaithal, Muzzaffarnagar, Shamli and parts of Meerut, and Ajmer, Pali and Rajasamand are Rs.89.57 per kg, Rs.88.22 per kg, Rs.86.79 per kg and Rs.89.83 per kg, respectively.
