With over 300 outlets operated by private players reportedly shut or functioning partially, a significant share of demand has shifted to public sector units.
Despite the increased load on its infrastructure, IndianOil said it has taken steps to ensure uninterrupted supply and smooth service delivery to LPG-powered vehicles.
Reflecting the surge in consumption, average daily sales at IndianOil’s ALDS in the state have risen to 59.53 metric tonnes (MT), up from the previous three-month average of 43.4 MT.
The company said it was committed to maintaining seamless fuel availability in line with government directives while ensuring equitable distribution across sectors.
