Indian army, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited jointly created oil infrastructure in West Kameng
Indian army and BPCL have jointly created oil infrastructure with tankages in West Kameng in India’s frontier state of Arunachal Pradesh.
The facility, for storage of all types of oils and lubricants and for bulk distribution is constructed at a cost of around Rs 8 crores in a record time of two years. Newton said, "The facility has contributed towards capability development for the populace of remote regions of the Northeast and is symbolic of the partnership of Industry and Army in addressing the national cause."
