India eyes stake in Russia's Rosnest

India is examining investing up to $3 billion in Russia's Rosnest, petroleum secretary M S Srinivasan said on Friday.

NEW DELHI: India is examining investing up to $3 billion in Russia's Rosnest, petroleum secretary M S Srinivasan said on Friday.

"We are examining investment upto $3 billion in the Rosnest IPO," he said.

ONGC Videsh Ltd is in talks for picking up 4-4.5 per cent stake in Rosnest but no decision gas been taken as yet, he said.
