HPCL officers to go on indefinite strike

Officers of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd today threatened to go on indefinite strike from tomorrow against "arbitrary" functioning of company's joint venture.

NEW DELHI: Officers of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd on Monday threatened to go on indefinite strike from tomorrow against "arbitrary" functioning of company's joint venture.

Hindustan Petroleum Management Staff Association said "HPCL officers across the country shall go on indefinite strike with effect from 6 am tomorrow".

The association said HPCL has appointed CEO of the joint venture with L N Mittal on a package of Rs 1 crore per annum, which the company cannot afford.
