Global Offshore bags a three-year Rs 39.3 cr contract

Global Offshore Services Limited (formerly known as Garware Offshore Services Limited), has entered into a three-year contract worth Rs 39.3 crore, with an exploration and production company.

MUMBAI: Global Offshore Services Limited (formerly known as Garware Offshore Services Limited), has entered into a three-year contract worth Rs 39.3 crore, with an exploration and production company.

Global Offshore is one of the leading offshore vessels services providers in the country.

The company's anchor handling tug-cum-supply vessel (AHTSV), MV Mahananda, has been awarded a three-year contract with an approximate value of Rs 13.1 crore per annum and the same will be deployed on the West coast of India, a press release issued here stated.

"The company continues to be bullish on this sector in view of the increased exploration and production activity. We at Global Offshore strongly believe and see a huge potential in this business."

Global Offshore operates a total fleet of 13 vessels. "The company is committed towards increasing its presence in new geographical markets," Garware said.

Global Offshore Services is engaged in the business of providing offshore logistics support services to the E&P/construction industry.

Its vessels are working in various markets, including India, Europe, West Africa and the Far East.
