GAIL to lay gas pipeline in Yamunanagar Industrial Area

CHANDIGARH: Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has permitted GAIL (India) Ltd for laying of a 3.85-km gas pipeline within Old industrial area, Yamunanagar for supply of gas to its prospective customers in this area.

The network by GAIL will provide this gas to the entrepreneurs in the area which can be used for heating and cooling purposes, an official release said here today.

"HSIIDC is the Nodal Agency of the State Government for providing industrial infrastructure in the State of Haryana. In Yamunanagar district, HSIIDC is having a presence in form of Industrial Estates set up in various phases, covering around 350 acres of land.

Another industrial estate within Yamunanagar district has also been developed by HSIIDC in Manakpur which is spread over an area of nearly 135 acres," the release said.
