GAIL targets transmitting 121.55 mmcmd gas in FY13

State-owned gas utility GAIL India has set a target of transmitting 121.55 million cubic metes per day of natural gas.

NEW DELHI: State-owned gas utility GAIL India has set a target of transmitting 121.55 million cubic metes per day of natural gas and marketing 85.75 mmcmd of gas sourced from domestic fields and imports in 2012-13.

GAIL signed a performance memorandum with the government setting these are targets for the fiscal 2012-13, a company press statement said here.

The annual Memorandum of Understanding was signed yesterday between Oil Secretary G C Chaturvedi and GAIL Chairman and Managing Director B C Tripathi.

GAIL is targeting production of 430,000 tons of polymers and 1.37 million tons of liquid hydrocarbons.

For 2012-13, it is looking at a gross sales for the fiscal at Rs 43,430 crore and a gross margin of Rs 6,287 crore.
