Prices of Commercial LPG prices from 2008-2026
Commercial LPG prices in India have witnessed sharp fluctuations over the years, reflecting global energy trends and changes in subsidy policies.According to Indian Oil data, commercial LPG prices in Delhi were as low as Rs 831 in the year 2008 which dropped to 658.22 the next year. The prices of commercial LPG cylinders, which are revised every month, kept increasing since then.

Indian Oil earlier said price revisions have been limited to select industrial segments, which account for a small share of total consumption and are adjusted monthly based on global rates. Bulk and commercial LPG cylinders, which make up less than 1% of consumption, have seen a price hike. Bulk diesel and ATF for international airlines have also been revised upwards. At the same time, around 4% of petroleum products have seen a price cut, reflecting global market movements.
State-run oil companies — Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum — revise LPG and ATF prices on the first of every month based on international benchmarks and currency exchange rates.
In contrast, domestic LPG prices remain unchanged. The last revision was on March 7, when prices were increased by Rs 60 per 14.2-kg cylinder. A household LPG cylinder currently costs Rs 913 in Delhi.
