First Digestor package of Assam Bio Refinery sails from Kolkata

The first Digestor package of 260 MT of Assam Bio Refinery has sailed from Kolkata for Silghat, Assam.

This opens up the Brahmaputra riverway for Cargo transportation.

Manging Director Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) S K Barua stated, “Happy to share that the first Digestor package of 260 MT of Assam Bio Refinery has sailed off today from Kolkata to Silghat Assam. Subsequent Over Dimensions and Overweight Consignments of ABRPL and NRL project will take the same route via National Waterway-1 (river Ganga), NW-97 (Sunderbans), Indo-Bangladesh Protocol (IBP) route and NW-2 (river Brahmaputra). This will also open up the Brahmaputra riverway for Cargo transportation.
