Fire in Reliance oil refinery in Jamnagar

JAMNAGAR: Fire broke out today in a plastic waste pit at the Reliance oil refinery here, police said.

The fire, which broke out in the area where all the waste and unwanted plastic is dumped, was brought under control by the fire officials, they said.

No casualties or damage was reported, police said. The reason behind the blaze is still not known, they said adding the smoke emanating from the premises caused panic among the workers.
