Aban Offshore bags Rs 285 cr contract from ONGC

MUMBAI: Aban Offshore has bagged an order worth Rs 285 crore (USD 57 million) from ONGC for deployment of jack-up rig Aban II for a period of three years.

In a regulatory filing, the company said that the contract is expected to commence during the January-March quarter of 2012.

However, the filing did not disclose where the rig will be deployed.
