13th edition of Petrotech to be held in Greater Noida in February

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the three-day event on February 10, which will be attended by a host of executives, technologists, scientists, planners, policymakers, and suppliers.
“The underlying theme of the conference is shaping the new energy world through innovation and collaboration,” said Sunjay Sudhir, Joint Secretary in the Petroleum Ministry.
Countries which have confirmed the participation of their energy ministers include the UAE, Iran, Oman, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Canada, Indonesia, Mauritius, Mexico, Nepal, Russia, South Sudan, Sudan and Sri Lanka.
The event will be an opportunity for the government to showcase the policy reforms of last few years and present the investment opportunity in the Indian oil and gas sector to the foreign delegates. The event would also have an exhibition that would focus on development in technologies for exploration and production, process control, refining, pipeline, services, oilfield hardware, software, analytical instruments.
