More than 20 energy ministers and 90 chief executives from across the world will come together at India's flagship energy event - Indian Energy Week - from February 11-14 to discuss the global issues facing the energy sector.

The government will use the event to "showcase solutions to the world", in addition to the policy and regulatory reforms India has undertaken in recent years, petroleum secretary Pankaj Jain told a news conference Monday. The event is organised by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry.

Over 70,000 delegates from 120 countries and 700-odd exhibitors are expected to participate in the event, which will have 10 country pavilions, including those of the US, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Japan and Russia.

The event will have seven key strategic themes: collaboration, resilience, transition, capacity, digital frontiers, innovation and leadership.
