ExxonMobil India appoints new CEO Monte Dobson

Energy giant ExxonMobil has appointed Monte Dobson as the CEO of its India unit, succeeding Bill Davis.

Prior to the appointment, Dobson led technology development for unconventional resources at ExxonMobil’s Upstream Integrated Solutions business, as per a company statement. Since joining ExxonMobil in 1994, he has held various responsibilities, including roles in engineering, business development and research. Bill Davis will move to Houston in the US to assume a new role in the company’s global LNG business.

“India’s huge growth potential and remarkable talent are competitive advantages for the country and for ExxonMobil,” said Dobson.
