Mumbai: JSW Dulux’s profit from its retained business more than doubled year-on-year in the June quarter to Rs 135.5 crore, aided by a 25% growth in volume, the company said on Tuesday. The company’s board also approved a 10-for-1 stock split.

Revenue from operations for the retained business rose nearly 19% to Rs 965 crore, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose nearly 15% to Rs 115.1 crore, the JSW Group company said in a statement.

The numbers presented for the retained business exclude the carved-out business and are provisional, unaudited and based on management estimates, JSW Dulux said. They also include the regrouping of certain promotional spends and dividend income.

“Q1 FY2026-27 started on a strong note as we made solid progress on our strategic priorities, delivering double-digit volume and value growth across all businesses with market share gains,” Joint Managing Director Rajiv Rajgopal said.

The decorative paints segment saw strong growth across the retail and projects businesses, while in the industrial paints segment, new order wins across the energy and infrastructure sectors, automotive OEMs, premium vehicle refinish and coil coatings strengthened growth momentum, he said.

The company also took price hikes during the quarter to offset inflation in raw materials.

At a consolidated level, net profit fell 12% year-on-year to Rs 79.7 crore, while revenue from operations fell around 3% year-on-year to Rs 965 crore.

In 2025, JSW Paints acquired a majority stake in the Indian operations of Akzo Nobel India. Earlier this year, the combined entity was renamed JSW Dulux.

At a standalone level, profit for the quarter rose nearly 50% to Rs 135.5 crore, even as revenue from operations declined around 3% to Rs 965.0 crore. EBITDA, too, fell more than 14% to Rs 115.1 crore.
