NEW DELHI: Vijay Mallya-controlled UB group is targeting acquisition of a large Scottish spirits company.

"There is a significant gap in our portfolio, which is Scottish whiskey," Vijay Mallya said at the HT Leadership Summit here.

United Breweries is a leading spirits manufacturer, with overall sales of about 60 million cases.
