TASMAC liquor sales cross Rs 36 crore

VELLORE: The sale of liquor by Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation Ltd (TASMAC) shops in Vellore district has crossed Rs 36 crore, official sources said here.

Due to the continuous raids by Prohibition Enforcement Wing (PEW), the sale of liquor has gone up.

Police vigilance at all check posts have also prevented the entry of other states' liquor bottles into the district, sources added.
