MUMBAI: Simbaholi Sugars (SSL) on Monday announced the launch of a Vodka brand 'Xing' in the white spirits category and is working towards taking it to other parts of the country.
The company has already launched the Vodka in some selected outlets in Uttar Pradesh, and is now planning to take it to other parts of the country, the company said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange.
"The appreciation, we are receiving from selected customers is encouraging us to widen the distribution to major cities pan-India," SSL Executive Director G S C Rao said in a statement.
SSL, a leading sugar manufacturer in North India, has three alcohol distilleries with a combined capacity of 210 kilo litres of ethanol per day.
