SABMiller India appoints Shalabh Seth as MD

NEW DELHI: Leading beer marketer SABMiller today said it has appointed Shalabh Seth as Managing Director for its India subsidiary.

Seth joined SABMiller India Operation in 2003. He has been the Sales Director since October 2011 and will be taking over the new mandate from January 1, 2015, the company said in a statement.

Seth replaces Grant Liversage who is returning to South Africa, the statement said.

Seth's responsibilities will include overseeing the company's operations, expansion and growth in the country and working towards building the business in the diverse and challenging Indian market by strengthening company's diversified and balanced portfolio of brands.

"I look forward to working with the entire team and strengthening SABMiller India's vision and commitment to grow and add value in the country," Seth said.
