Global wine body OIV to help Nashik's vineyards

NASHIK: International Organisation of Vine and Wine ( OIV) plans to provide a helping hand to Nashik's wineries and vineyards, its managing director Director General Federico Castellucci said.

He said that India is the organisation's 45th member. There is a worldwide market for wine, but wineries should maintain quality and security in their production. Nashik's climate is suitable to grow wine grapes, he said.
