Beam Global Spirits and Wine, makers of the Teachers brand Scotch whisky, is planning a retail channel expansion as part its strategy to capture 45% market share in the premium segment in the country in the next three years.


NEW DELHI: Beam Global Spirits and Wine, makers of the Teachers brand Scotch whisky, is planning a retail channel expansion as part its strategy to capture 45% market share in the premium segment in the country in the next three years.

"In the IMFL category, we are targeting around half a million cases of in the next three years in the whisky segment. We are targeting around 45% share in domestic market of more than 3.2 lakh cases per annum,” Global Spirits and Wine India managing director Beam Harish Moolchandani told reporters.
