HUL appoints ex-Marico, Flipkart executive Koteshwar LN as Oziva CEO

New Delhi: Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) has roped in Koteshwar L.N., who held senior leadership roles at Marico, Flipkart and Coca-Cola, as the chief executive of its wellness nutrition business Oziva amid heightened competition and double-digit growth across the category.

Koteshwar will lead Oziva, at a time when the wellness nutrition business is attracting attention across both established consumer-facing companies as well as investors.

"We confirm that Koteshwar LN has joined as the CEO of Oziva," HUL said in response to ET's email query. He will report to Harman Dhillon, HUL's executive director, beauty and well-being. According to an executive directly aware of the development, Koteshwar will also be in-charge of HUL's overall wellness portfolio which includes electrolyte drink Liquid I.V.

HUL, India's largest consumer company that makes a gamut of brands from detergents to cosmetics, completed the acquisition of Oziva, a plant-based clean-label consumer wellness brand through parent company Zywie in February. "Since entering the health and well-being category through the acquisition of a 51% stake in Zywie in 2023, the latter has scaled to about Rs 480 crore in two years at a CAGR of close to 130%," HUL said in its 2025-26 annual report.
